Acting as a commodity manager, you will define and implement the strategy for the commodities and manage the corresponding suppliers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Negotiate cost reduction based on cost models, reverse engineering, industry benchmark<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Identify best-in class suppliers thanks to continuous benchmarks (technology, lead time, quality, cost)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Allocate business between our pool of suppliers to reach our KPI of service level, quality and cost<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Qualify new suppliers with Quality, Procurement and Engineering and enable a successful ramp-up<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Negotiate contracts of supply with international suppliers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Follow-up on suppliers\u2019 performance (service level, quality, cost) and any corrective actions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Mitigate possible risks of supply chain disruption (dual sourcing, contract of supply, safety stock \u2026)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Build strong relationships to identify new technological trends and share them internally with engineering design team<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">For the development of new products: support engineering and suppliers (design reviews, prototype to series production)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Background in purchasing &amp; engineering with a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical or mechatronics engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Advanced analytical and reporting skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u25cb Create and maintain suppliers&#8217; KPI<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0 \u25cb Generate business analysis<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0 \u25cb Motivate &amp; document decisions<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">5+ year in a similar position within an international company<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">5+ year working with international suppliers for at least one of the following commodities: electronics, cables, plastic injection, metal bar turning, contract manufacturing, coating &amp; surface treatment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Fluent in French and English (minimum C1 level)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Travel (up to 20% in Europe, Asia and USA)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Excellent analytical skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Communication &amp; negotiation skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Proactive and pragmatic<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Organized and solution oriented<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Team spirit<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","apply_message":"<p>Are you up to the challenge?
